Nourish Bistro is not your average vegetarian or vegan restaurant. They are “the place where the non vegan or vegetarian friends say its the best meal they’ve ever had,” says general Manager Alex Boston. Drawing from a wealth of different culinary influences Nourish’s menu provides an alternative dining experience that takes familiar pub food such as nachos, burgers and jalapeño poppers and transforms them into something satisfyingly wholesome. Their menu is very versatile and caters to any and all dietary needs or tastes. Nourish is also committed to sustainability by supporting and utilizing local, organic and seasonal ingredients. Their new menu features several brand new items as well as classic favourites.

Atmosphere and Accolades 

The atmosphere of Nourish Bistro is very much like the food it serves: fresh and exciting. Featuring plenty of greenery, birch wood accents and local art that adorns the walls. Nourish has a very earthy and modern looking interior. Nourish’s nachos have been consistently voted “The Best in Banff.” They are also proud to have the best use of fresh, local and organic ingredients as voted by locals. During the summer, the menu is 85 – 90% organic produce. They also feature live music on Sundays in the Summer and on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the fall. To add to their list of accomplishments they also boast the largest drink menu in Banff!

All Day Menu

  • Tapas: Bread Oil and Salt; Hummus Trio with herbed focaccia; Vegetable Kebab; Mini Chana Masala: chickpeas cooked in authentic Indian gravy with Tandori Roti; Gyoza: stuffed with cabbage, carrots, mushrooms and bean sprouts, sweet chili sesame dipping sauce; Tofu ‘Mozza’ Sticks; Poutine: cajun fries with cheese* drenched in a phanaeng curry sauce and topped with strawberry salsa.
  • World Famous Nachos: Consistently voted best nachos in Banff! choose from 28 different toppings
  • Salads: Falafel Salad: grilled chickpea and fava bean falafel, mixed greens, carrots, cucumber, beets, tomato, garlic dill pickles, rep pepper hummus, tzatziki; Nourishment Bowl: quinoa, roasted vegetables, garlic coconut cream, vegetables, nuts, seeds, house-made nutritional yeast dressing; Fresh Market Salad; Tempeh Skillet: sizzling skillet of sauteed vegetables with basmati rice and marinated tempeh.
  • Bear Street Burger: beyond meat patty, roasted red pepper aioli, ranch dressing, smokey blazed carrots, mixed greens, tomato, pickles cheese, gourmet brioche bun
  • Mac and Squeeze: gluten free quinoa noodles, red pepper coconut cream cheese sauce, roasted vegetables, tomatoes, raw kale crisps
  • Wild Mushroom Ravioli: six exotic mushrooms, raw vegan cheese cheese, red pepper, lavender and garlic cream sauce, herbed focaccia
  • Pizza Like No Other: Beyond Meat sausage, caramelized onions, red pepper, stringy mozzarella, garlic cream sauce and fresh arugula.
  • King Kong Noodles: thin vermicelli rice noodles and vegetables in a delicious coconut chilli peanut sauce, topped with bean sprouts, mixed nuts, mandarins, sesame seeds, and coconut.
  • Kimchi Burger: house made fermented kimchi burger patty topped with cheese*, lettuce, pickles, tomato and red pepper aioli. Served on gourmet brioche bun with ranch dressing and sweet chilli sauce.
  • Taco Taco Taco: 3 Corn taco shells stuffed with chipotle marinated black beans, shredded lettuce, fresh sliced avocado and cilantro. Topped off with Mexican salsa and Jalapeño aioli.

  • Cheese-less Cake: vegan, creamy cashew cheese filling on an almond date crust, rotating flavours
  • Nanaimo Bar: raw chocolate and vanilla cream over almond, coconut, brownie base
