This steak house and family restaurant‘s made-from-scratch meals are filled with homemade flavour. Star menu items include AAA Alberta and Canadian CAB beef from the pick-your-own-cut steak cart, and live lobster from the tank. Melissa’s is also popular for breakfast.

Atmosphere & Accolades

Melissa’s is located in a 1928 log building, with antique lights, typical of Banff architecture a century ago. Locally owned and operated for 36 years, this spot has been voted Favourite Banff Restaurant by Calgary Herald readers. The upstairs bar has 60-inch sports plasmas, wireless speakers at tables, darts, pool, pinball and low drink prices. Book a private room for up to 150 people.

Live bands play Tuesday and Thursday nights at Melissa’s Upstairs Bar.
