This small and charming eatery is located a few steps off Banff’s main street. Coyotes‘ motto, “great tasting food that is good for you” reflects owners Trudy Allan and Kathy Johnson’s healthy mountain lifestyles. Southwestern and Mediterranean dishes incorporate fresh produce, regional fish and meat, and chilies from hot to mild. Everything is made from scratch, including sauces and salsas some of which are available for purchase.

Atmosphere & Accolades

The warm décor includes terra cotta tile, wood furnishings and southwestern inspired paintings and wall décor. Sit at the counter by the open kitchen to see the culinary team in action. Coyotes has a solid local following and was voted Banff‘s Best Breakfast by local newspaper readers.
