A Banff tradition since 1975, Bumpers is known for its steadfast dedication to AAA Alberta beef and the all-you-can-eat salad bar that is included with main dishes.

Atmosphere

Patrons appreciate the timber and rock décor, comfy booths, long group tables and eye-level fireplaces. Window-side tables offer wooded park views, while the lounge has a huge Rundle stone and copper fireplace, striking bar and big screens that show all the Hockey games. Food and Drink specials run all week long.

  • Bumper’s Prime Rib and Eggs: 6 oz cut of prime rib, two eggs, hashbrowns and toast
  • Eggs Benedict: two poached eggs, English muffin, choice of smoked salmon, ham or back bacon, hashbrowns and toast
  • Breakfast Wrap: scrambled eggs, sausage, tomatoes, peppers, onions, cheese, salsa, in a flour tortilla and hashbrowns
  • French Toast; Belgian Waffles; Pancakes; Yogurt and Fruit; Oatmeal and Fruit

Dinner

  • Bumpers Famous Salad Bar: choice of 25 items included with all mains or enjoyed as a meal on its own; vegetables, tossed greens, meats, potato salad, pasta salads, tomato/feta/onion salads, six dressings, dinner rolls
  • AAA Alberta Beef Steaks: Ribeye, New York Striploin, Filet Mignon or Top Sirloin
  • Slow Cooked Alberta Prime Rib: 8 to 16 oz cuts
  • Pile-O-Bones: prime rib beef bones basted in traditional Bumpers glaze
  • Baby Back Ribs: housemade honey BBQ sauce
  • Grilled Chicken Breast: BBQ, teriyaki, or maple lime sauce
  • Combos: choose two options including 5 oz slow roasted Prime rib, half rack baby back ribs, chicken breast with three glaze options or two slow roasted Prime rib bones, comes with seasonal vegetables and choice of side
  • Beef Burger: sautéed mushrooms, BBQ sauce, aged cheddar, smoked bacon on a kaiser bun
  • Canadian Mountain Stew: Alberta beef, vegetables, Guinness gravy
  • West Coast Salmon: 8 oz, oven baked with fresh lemon and dill
  • Rocky Mountain Trout: 6 oz, oven baked with fresh lemon and dill
  • Pastas: Baked Lasagna; Baked Spaghetti; Fettuccine Alfredo; Lobster Ravioli
