Meals at this popular Banff restaurant are carefully prepared, and made fresh daily on-site using quality ingredients. Gluten-free options are available. All entrées include soup or salad, warm sourdough bread with whipped garlic butter, tea or coffee and spumoni ice cream at no additional charge. Lunch pasta, sandwich, and soup and salad specials are available until 2:30 pm

Atmosphere

The Old Spaghetti Factory is filled with antiques, stained glass, Tiffany lights and other memorabilia reminiscent of the early 20th century. Large picture windows that open wide on nice days offer views of Rundle and Sulphur mountains. There is a rock fireplace and lounge area with TVs that show sports.

  • Appetizers: tomato basil flatbread with goat cheese; bam bam shrimp; steamed mussels; calamari; wings; crispy mozzarella triangles
  • Salads: Caesar; spinach (almonds, apples, cranberries); Mediterranean
  • Tortellini Pomodoro: rainbow pasta stuffed with cheese in a rich rosé basil cream sauce with mushrooms, peppers, tomatoes and garlic
  • Manicotti: pasta tubes stuffed with cheeses and spinach, topped with tomato sauce and melted mozzarella
  • Pot-Pourri Spaghetti: sample three popular sauces (meat, mushroom, clam)
  • Seafood Fettuccine Alfredo: sautéed scallops, shrimp and mushrooms
  • Chicken Pesto Linguine (homemade sauce with basil, mushrooms, diced tomato and cream); Chorizo Penne Al Fresca (spicy chorizo sausage)
  • Prawn or Chicken Red Thai Curry Linguine: sautéed peppers, fresh cilantro
  • Mama Pulosi’s Lasagna: meat sauce, mozzarella, ricotta, Parmesan
  • Vegetarian Lasagna: spinach, mushrooms, green peppers, carrots, onions
  • Grilled Lemon and Garlic Marinated Chicken: over linguine in light Parmesan and roasted garlic butter
  • Chicken Parmigiana: breaded and fried chicken breast baked with mozzarella, Parmesan and tomato sauce
  • Baby Back Ribs: slow cooked with smoky BBQ sauce, plus spaghetti or fries
  • New York Steak: sautéed mushrooms, plus spaghetti with tomato sauce or fries
