A Banff tradition since 1975, Bumpers is now located at Rundlestone Lodge on Banff Avenue. Chef Johnny Wotton maintains the restaurant’s dedication to AAA Alberta beef and all-you-can-eat salad bar (included with main dishes). The Tuesday prime rib feature (10-oz cut, $22) and Thursday rib special (full rack, $30) are popular.

Patrons appreciate the timber and rock décor, comfy booths, long group tables and eye-level fireplaces. Window-side tables offer wooded park views, while the lounge has a huge rundlestone and copper fireplace, striking bar, big screen sports and drink specials.
