Famous for hearty breakfasts (the Brekkie-Bowl is a best bet), Bigger Better Juicier burgers and Dinner Classics, RG’s Lounge in Banff has something for all. This restaurant is a good value choice for casual and family dining.


Located on Banff Avenue between downtown and the hotel strip, this newly renovated restaurant  has a warm and modern interior. Family-sized booths and spacious seating  add to the relaxed, comfortable atmosphere, while window-side tables offer main street views that are great for people watching.

Menu Samples

  • Starters: pot stickers; nachos; panko breaded prawns; potato skins; calamari; poutines (traditional, chicken, prime rib, bacon)
  • Southern Style Chicken Tenders; Buffalo Style Wings (boneless available)
  • California Salad (chicken, avocado, berries, pecans); Mediterranean Chopped Salad (tomatoes, cucumbers, feta); Caesar; BLTC (maple bacon, three cheeses); Super Spinach (mushrooms, candied pecans, peppers, feta, mandarin sesame)
  • Amazing Ginger Bowl (chicken, veggies); Chicken Avocado Omelette (chicken, guacamole, bell peppers, onion, Pepper Jack cheese)
  • Lemon Herb Salmon: with lemon herb butter sauce, rice, steamed vegetables
  • 7th Heaven Lasagna (meat and Alfredo sauce baked with three cheeses and served with Caesar salad); Half Pound Certified Angus Beef Burgers
  • Prime Rib Dinner: melt-in-your-mouth tender Canadian prime rib; 8, 12 or 16 oz
  • Grilled Veggie Sandwich; Beef Dip; Pulled Pork; Big Bronco Ribs (sweet
