Eden offers an exquisite dining experience featuring regional and international cuisine with dramatic flavours and presentations. Perched on Sulphur Mountain above the Town of Banff, this restaurant offers breathtaking Rundle Mountain, Bow Valley and Spray Valley views.

Atmosphere & Accolades

Eden is Western Canada’s only AAA/CAA Five Diamond awarded restaurant. Rich wood finishes, leather chairs and landscape art contribute to the elegant, intimate setting. The 1,200-label open-to-view wine room and a Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence citation complement the expertise of the six sommeliers. Try an Eden Pairing to sample multiple wines of uncommon quality.

Menu Samples

  • Eden menus change every six weeks, but the samples listed below are
    representative of the restaurant‘s offerings
  • Chef‘s Tasting Menu, $140: Alaskan king crab; partridge (red cabbage, foie gras); lobster (celeriac, macadamia); venison (beetroot, kohlrabi, chocolate); Le Blackburn with accompaniment and garnish; peach and saffron
  • Vegetarian Tasting Menu, $110: tagliatelle of kohlrabi (Parmesan, greens); mint and pea soup (asparagus, split pea, reserved shallots); blackcurrant granita; Le Blackburn with accompaniment and garnish; peach and saffron
  • Appetizers: elk tartare (mustard, cucumber, barley, Caviaroli); herb flan (grains, legumes, carrot, herbs); scallop (cauliflower, chanterelle, soybean); seared foie gras (shallot consommé, beetroot, salt baked onion purée, mustard, shimeji)
  • Green Eggs and Ham Duck: halloumi, apple, lentil, kalettes, berry glaze
  • Sungold Lamb: broccoli, eggplant, goat cheese
  • Variety of Roasted Root Vegetables: barley, goat yogurt, shallot consommé
  • Brant Lake Wagyu: Jerusalem artichoke, mushroom, kohlrabi, sauce Bordelaise
  • Trout and Limpets: carrot, almonds, brown butter hollandaise, vanilla
  • Boar: fig, savoy cabbage, fennel, mushrooms
  • Desserts: citrus (lemon, calamansi, blood orange, grapefruit); variety and texture of coconut and chocolate; variety and texture of berries

Table d’hôte Menus: two-course $85, three-course $95, four-course $105, 10-course grand dègustation $215

Tasting Menu: $140, vegetarian $110

Wine pairings available

Drinks: wines $79 to $15,000, 1,200 choices; pairing $102 to $198, plus Eden upgrades; single malt Scotch, 80 choices; rare spirit cocktails; diamond earring martini
